The Marion County Board of County Commissioners currently has
vacancies on the following volunteer boards:

1. Tourist Development Council:
(3 Full Member/4 Year Term)
Duties/Responsibilities: Applicant must be a registered voter of
Marion County and must be an individual involved in the tourist
industry who demonstrates an interest in tourist development. The
Tourist Development Council makes recommendations to the Board of
County Commissioners for the effective operation of the tourist
development tax revenue.

Applications for said vacancies may be obtained at the Marion County
MSTU/Assessment Office, 2710 E. Silver Springs Blvd., or by calling

All existing and newly appointed advisory board members
are required to attend at least one (1) advisory board seminar after
official appointment by the Board of County Commissioners.
The deadline for receiving applications is February 4, 2010
at 5:00 p.m. The Board of County Commissioners
plans to appoint members as soon as possible. |
