4-H Volunteers

4-H Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of 4-H. Over 400 citizens dedicate their time annually to making 4-H happen in Marion County.

Becoming a volunteer has many benefits including developing leadership skills, meeting new friends, and having some really great adventures. But most importantly is the wonderful feeling one gets through helping youth develop important life skills necessary for growing into healthy, strong and productive adults.

Although we have a strong volunteer base in Marion County, we are in constant need of new volunteers to serve in a variety of fun and exciting roles. Our need for club leaders tops the list, as we are in desperate need of volunteers to start new clubs in rapidly growing areas of the county like the Shores in the Southeast and off S.R. 200 in Southwest Ocala.
