Marion County: contact the correct source for power issues

Residents reporting power outages or requesting power restoration status updates should contact their power companies directly. The contact information for power companies servicing Marion County is as follows:

Clay Electric: 1-888-434-9844
Duke Energy: 800-228-8485
Ocala Electric: 352-351-6666
SECO: 800-732-6141

Residents wishing to report downed power lines can contact Public Safety Communications’ non-emergency line at 352-732-9111. This number should not be used to report outages or request updates. Dispatchers do not have this information, and such calls prevent dispatchers from processing active emergencies.

If a downed powerline is causing an immediate danger (e.g., if it’s entrapping a car or is causing a fire), residents should dial 9-1-1.
