Several plan options are available to full time employees and dependents.
Contributions vary depending on the chosen plan and are deducted from the
employee's paycheck.

Risk Management Benefit presentation

Coverage commences the first of the month following 30 days of full time
employment

Life Insurance
|
County provies 100% of the cost of coverage for full time employees who are
enrolled in Basic Life Insurance in the amount of one time their annual
salary.

Long Term Disability
|
The county provides all full time regular employees long term disability
insurance. This insurance is for employees who, due to personal injury or
illness, become unable to perform the essential functions of their jobs and
the disability is expected to last more than four(4) months.

Supplemental Insurance: Vision, Dental, &
Dependent Life Insurance
|
Employees my elect to purchase supplemental insurance such as 20/20 Vision
Plan, Dental Insurance and life for eligible dependents in the amount of
$10,000 per person. All the programs are available for purchase through
payroll deduction and based on the coverage elected cost will vary.
