The Marion bookmobile is one of two bookmobiles operated by the library system.
The current vehicle, put into service in November 1991, was purchased with a
$60,000 grant and $13,000 in matching local funds. The Marion bookmobile
serves outlying communities such as Weirsdale, Citra, Salt Springs, and
Silver Springs Shores.
