Marion County proudly has designed many scenic roads throughout the County by Ordinance 97-1.  Information on scenic roads and a scenic road map are available at Marion County Growth Management (Planning).

We welcome you to tour our scenic roads by car; a list of the roads is provided at the link to the right/left.  Most scenic roads are denoted by a green sign with a white tree stating "Scenic Road."

 
County staff continue to work with the Scenic Roads Advisory Committee and the Board of County Commissioners to establish and protect Marion County's scenic roads and to enhance and promote their environmental, cultural, and economic benefits for the people of Marion County.
