The Marion County Solid Waste Department Collection Division oversees the operation of roll-off and clam shell trucks to pick up and deliver household garbage, yard trash, and recyclables seven days a week at the County's recycling centers and the two green box locations. The Collection Division also provides for the pick up and delivery of materials collected at other county department and community clean-up events to the Baseline Solid Waste Facility or the recycling contractor designated to receive the recyclables. The division's eighteen recycling centers also hold special furniture collection events throughout the year.
