Facts About our Safety Program:

The Solid Waste Department initiated a safety program in November of 2004.  As of March 2008, the Solid Waste Department worked a combined total of 378,690 hours with only 24 hours of lost time due to injury since the program was initiated.  Each month, this program continues to save money on the county's workers compensation cost.
