Important inspection information:

Inspection requests received prior to 7 a.m. may be scheduled for the same business day depending on inspector availability and are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once same day availability is depleted, inspection requests will be scheduled for the next available date and time.

Driveway and Utility Inspection requests must be received by 3:30 p.m. prior to the requested date to be eligible for Next Business Day Inspection scheduling. All requests received after 3:30 p.m. will be scheduled at least two days from receipt.

To ensure a safe built environment, the department issues permits, reviews plans, verifies contractor licenses and performs inspections for each project.
