Learning to speak English? Make conversation @ your library!

People learning to speak English are invited to get together at the Marion County Public Library to enjoy casual conversation with other people learning English as a second language. You can make new friends, enjoy a comfortable environment, and practice speaking their new language.

· Date:                           Every Tuesday

· Time:                          10 a.m. to 12 noon

People needing more help learning English - before they can comfortably join the conversation group - there is an English Instruction Group.

· Date:                           Every Monday and Tuesday

· Time:                          5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Both activities are offered between July 7th and August 7th and after a short break from August 18th through December 18th.   These programs are offered in partnership with the Marion County Community Technical Adult & Education Center and the Marion County Public Library. The meetings are held in Room A at the Headquarters-Ocala Marion County Public Library, 2720 East Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala.
